ED TURNBILL—1927.

He was a football standout at tackle, playing from 1923-24-26 and the great 1927 team that is recognized as one of the best produced at Lenoir City. He made many All East Tennessee teams for his play in 1927. He was a very versatile player moving into the backfield when needed. He was elected as a charter member to the Hall of Fame in 1970.
