OLLIE ARDEN-1939

He played during the football golden years at Lenoir City. He began with the great undefeated team of 1936 in the backfield and was moved to the line in 1937 on the team that lost only 2 games. His play led the team to an 11 win and 1 loss in 1938. His speed, rugged play and blocking abilities made him a standout. In 1939, he was elected Captain and again the team was one of the best in the area. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1972.
