Director of Schools

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!
As I enter my 3rd year as Director of Schools, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community that has been my cornerstone since I was born, and I am energized by hope, knowing our students are prepared to excel in their chosen paths. The Lenoir City Board of Education’s 2026-2031 five-year strategic plan, which centers on our mission: “Building Lenoir City’s Future One Student at a Time” and vision: “Built on Tradition; Focused on the Future,” is our roadmap to success, guiding important decisions as we consider the strong history of our district and how that builds a foundation for innovation as we prepare our students for what lies ahead. We have adopted an aspirational but achievable plan to reach our goals. I am confident that, working together, we can do it!
We are invested in meeting the diverse needs of our school family. Our school leaders prioritize open, proactive communication to ensure inclusivity and effective collaboration with all stakeholders in the school community. Please get in touch with your student’s teacher or building-level administrator when a question, concern, or good news arises. I am so thankful to work with you to serve our students’ best interests. Thank you for your continued partnership and ongoing support of the strong tradition of excellence in Lenoir City Schools.
We want to hear from you as we continue to plan and make important decisions in the service of our students’ success, growth, and achievement. Our website and social media page provide important updates, information, highlights of school and district activities, and resources for our community, parents, and students. Please review the strategic plan to learn more about our district’s comprehensive efforts to serve our school community. I invite you to share feedback and questions by visiting this link.
Mr. Mark Hudson, our PR, Marketing, and Communications Specialist, updates our district information, and school staff maintain individual school sites. We also use ParentSquare to connect with our families. I look forward to meeting you in person at school events this year! I can also be reached via the email link or by calling the office at 865-986-8058.
We are honored you have entrusted us with your students – our community’s most precious asset! Each person in our district plays a vital role in supporting student success, and I am proud of our team’s efforts to make Lenoir City Schools the school of choice in our community. Best wishes for a wonderful year!
Go Panthers!
