This statement is part of an effort to locate and serve children who may need special education and related services and/or special accommodations. If you know of a child who may qualify and is not now receiving available services, please contact Josh Brannon at (865) 988-2060.
Parents who have children ages 3-5 who have concerns that their child may be in need of special education services may complete the child find referral form that can be accessed by clicking on the Child Find Referral Form link or by contacting Josh Brannon, Coordinator of Student Instructional Support & RTI2 (865) 988-2060.
Parents who have educational concerns about school-age children who attend public school can access special education services by contacting the principal of their student’s school or the Special Education Supervisor for more information. Child referral will be made to the school’s Support Team to review the referral, develop interventions to be attempted in the general education classroom, design methods to obtain data to determine if the interventions are successful or not, collect data, and make referrals for additional evaluations/assessments as needed.
Parents who have educational concerns about school-age children who do not attend public school but are being homeschooled through the Lenoir City School System can access special education services by contacting the Special Education Supervisor for more information
