Community Partners
Back To School Shopping: The Kiwanis Club of Tellico Village sponsors the Back-to-School Clothing project at the Lenoir City Wal-Mart in July. The Club is especially indebted to our corporate sponsor, Malibu Boats, for its generous support of the event.
Held in collaboration with the Family Resource Center in Lenoir City and Loudon County schools, students and their parents shop for new clothes for the upcoming school year.
A special thanks is extended to the Wal-Mart Store Manager and associates for their assistance.
The program is intended to make the first day of school even more memorable and provide clothing assistance to children in need. If your children need assistance with clothing, contact the FRC at 865-986-0518 to check availablity.

Clinic Mobile Clothing Closet: The GFWC Suburbia Woman’s Club of Lenoir City is deeply committed to our community and has generously provided a donation for our Mobile-Clinic closets. These closets will supply essential needs for students at Lenoir City Elementary School, Lenoir City Intermediate/Middle School, and Lenoir City High School. By establishing these resources at each school, we aim to enhance student attendance by ensuring that their basic needs are met. This initiative will help students return to the classroom confidently and comfortably in appropriate clothing.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the GFWC Suburbia Woman’s Club of Lenoir City for their unwavering support of Lenoir City Schools and our families. We truly appreciate the invaluable work you do to make our community a better place.
Let’s TALK: We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Walmart Lenoir City for their generous support in funding our Let's TALK program for the 2026-2027 school year.
Let's TALK is an interactive eight-week early literacy initiative offered by the Lenoir City Schools Family Resource Center. This program takes place in both the Fall and Spring, catering to parents and children aged 2 to 4 years.
The program's objectives include enhancing existing skills, better preparing children for school and their futures, conducting interactive reading sessions, engaging in creative crafts, and providing nutritious snacks. Together, we can foster a lifelong love of learning in our young participants!
