Parents who have educational concerns about school-age children who do not attend public school but are being homeschooled through the Lenoir City School System or are attending a private school located within Lenoir City can access special education services by contacting the Special Education Supervisor, Joshua Brannon, for more information (865-986-8058, ext 2060).

The Tennessee Department of Education has recently revised its Non-Public Schools Approval Process, resulting in an updated list of approved Category III Accreditted Online Schools. Please note that any independent homeschool student in fifth grade, seventh grade, or ninth grade is required to test with their zoned LEA for all TCAP and EOC Exams. Please contact Coordinator of Special Education Services, Joshua Brannon at jlbrannon@lenoircityschools.net to notify Lenoir City Schools when applicable for assessments for your child.
