Dear Parents and Students,
Here’s what you need to know for this year’s Chromebook deployment:
Location and Dates: Deployment will be held at Lenoir City High School on July 17th, 22nd, and 23rd from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Who Needs to Attend: Students entering 3rd, 6th, and 9th grades must attend. All families must complete the deployment process so if your child is not in 3rd, 6th or 9th grade then you will need to complete the process online. We will issue Kindergarten student Chromebooks at a later date.
Insurance Fee: A $35.00 insurance fee per device covers accidental damage for the year.
Payment Options: Parents will receive an invoice through ParentSquare for their student’s Chromebook Warranty Payment. The payment link will accept credit, debit, Apple or Google Pay options. For cash or check payments or payment plans, attendance at deployment is required.
Data Verification: Data verification will open in Skyward Family Access on July 14th. This must be completed in Skyward Family Access by July 25th . Contact your student’s school or call 865-988-7242 for Skyward Family Access login assistance if needed.
Charger Return: Students entering 3rd, 6th, and 9th grades from Lenoir City Middle School must return their current Chromebook and charger.
Lost Charger: A $30 replacement fee applies if the charger is lost.
Fast Track Option: Pay insurance online and complete data verification in advance to expedite the process at deployment.
